Why use this instead of recording a Personal Meeting Lecture in Zoom?

what is the difference between screencast and slide show? If doing a powerpoint wont the slideshow be the pick?

I have the same question. I have used both recorded Powerpoints and recorded Zooms and posted them to Canvas for students. Is there a benefit to use this Media Site?

I think the Zoom recordings have an expiration where these do not

what if you do not have dual screens? How do you prevent the control box from being in the recording?
